the leap

Today is my first day full-time on Casa after a 2 month notice period since resigning.

It's also my first blog post on the internet after years of saying i'd do this (this was all built in a few hours today).

Whilst i've journalled on and off for years and use Notion with all the other productivity hacks, i'm hoping this outlet serves new purposes...

Today marked the leap on my journey, it's fair to say that leaving Checkout and the smart minds and career opportunity ahead of me doesn't sound rational.

But neither does jumping from a hunk of steel from 10,000 feet.



Blogging serves as a way to improve my writing (after years of mainly reading) and of finding peace in the ensuing chaos. Inevitably this adventure will end; hopefully with being grateful and content... a safe landing.

or I splat into the ground at 120mph - which clearly isn't the ideal outcome.

All of this to say, that whilst the emotional rollercoaster and journey will be fun crazy difficult, it isn't without planning & preparation for the leap . I'm taking years of experience in the property space and months of building, market research and insights to force Casa into the future of property search 🙏
